It was reported that the January 10 Cenerentola at the Vienna State Opera only filled 30% of the house. It begs the question - how long is this sustainable without foreign tourist money especially from Japan and China?

In contrast, January 18 at the nearby Theater an der Wien, the Martin Kusej-directed Tosca opened to a full house.
